Export to Excel
You can export the content of a project and a team's board to an Excel document.
Export a project to Excel
To export a project, select the 'Excel export' option from the project 'more' menu.
The Excel export popup appears, where you can select which sections of the project you want to include in the document.
Each selected section will be exported into a separate sheet in the Excel document. The document will contain the following attributes of the stories in the project.
- Topic
- Story name
- Story description (converted to plain text)
- Team (contains a value if the story is on a team's board, or if the story is delivered by a team)
- Status (backlog, planbox, or the column of the board)
- Location (backlog, planbox or team name)
- Size
- Logged work in minutes
- Story ID
- Due date of the story
- Date created
- Date delivered (contains a value if the story is delivered)
- Assigned users
- Tags assigned to the story
Currently, Scrum Mate doesn't export tasks to the Excel document.
Export stories from a team's board
If you want to export all stories that are on a team's board, you can do that by selecting the 'Excel export' option from the board's 'more' menu.
Scrum Mate immedatiately exports all stories that are on the board. The generated Excel document will contain the following attributes of the stories.
- Project
- Topic
- Story name
- Description (converted to plain text)
- Team
- Status (the column of the board)
- Location (the name of the team)
- Size
- Logged work (in minutes)
- Story ID
- Due date of the story
- Date created (creation date of the story)
- Date delivered (always empty)
- Assigned users
- Tags
Currently, Scrum Mate doesn't export tasks to the Excel document.
