Make a tag available on all projects
When your organization works on multiple projects, you may need tags that you can use on all projects. If you want to use a tag on multiple projects, you can make it an organization level tag.
You need to be an organization admin or organization owner to make a tag available on all projects within the organization.
To make a tag available on all projects, perform the following steps.
Open the ‘Tags’ panel of the project
Open the more [...] menu of the tag that you want to make an organization level tag and select ‘Convert to organization level tag’ menu item.
When converting a project tag to an organization level tag, Scrum Mate checks if there are tags with the same name in other projects.
If there are no tags with the same in other projects, you can confirm to create an organization level tag from the selected project tag.
If Scrum Mate finds identical tags in other projects, you can merge those tags to the new organization-level tag to avoid inconsistent usage of the same tag name for multiple tags.
In the dialog box, you can select the tags you want to merge.
When you merge a project tag into the organization level tag, Scrum Mates replaces the project level tag with the new organization-level tag on all user stories in the selected projects.
Once you converted your first project-level tag to an organization level tag, Scrum Mate will display the organization-level tags in a new category. This new organization-level category and its tags will be available on all projects.
Converting an organization-level tag to a project level tag
If you don’t want to use a tag across all projects anymore, you can convert an organization-level tag back to project level tags. Converting an organization-level tag to project level tag will create the same tag in all projects where the tag was assigned to at least one user story.
